16 more days to the end of my internship stint!

I havent been blogging for a long time due to fatigue in my work. Seriously, I hate to work 6 days a week whereby my allowance ($500) is not justifiable for the hours I worked. Moreover, Sundays I still got to teach piano. I need more rest days! Now, i am preparing in lieu for my Japanese placement test for Level 3 or 4 in my school so that I can skipped the first two levels. *Cross fingers* hopefully, i can pass considering that I only have about 1 week to study for it. My knowledge of it is abit rusty as i have not touch it for the past 4 yrs. Now, I can only look forward to my Genting trip with my dear in July straight after my internship for a rejuvenation. Really needed it! I used to like working, but now, I am beginning to detest it.

It's Ms Sharon Mah 24th birthday!

Its another time of the day for one of our babe's birthday! - Sharon! She was late for almost an hour and it left the rest of us waiting for her at Shokudo. Our stomach are grouching and all of us were really hungry. (well, cant be helped since most of us can really EAT! this excludes the missing gal - Xiaowei). I've there before for my birthday and I have always like their Carbonara pasta. Its tasty and delectable which left me wanting more of it. haha~ Thereafter, we went to Ben and Jerry to have some ice cream and for photo takings. At the later part of the night, our birthday gal suggested going to a KTV pub and we walked quite for a long time before we settled for one ktv pub. It was an experience as we get to see some sleazy pubs which i think the guys will love to go if not for our company. hee~ well, guys are guys afterall.

Upcoming gatherings will be:
- Fadly's birthday @ St.James Power Station - It has been donkey years since I stepped into a pub again for clubbing
- Jenn's birthday: might be booking the Chevron chalet @ Jurong -its clean as compared to the Easy Coast one, however, its always fully packed..

Down with Fever, Flu and Sore Throat

Its been an awful three day for me having to battle against my sickness that dawned upon me. I am real sick and i feel weak all over. The only thing is to rest and sleep after taking my medicine as it caused me drowsiness. May god bless me with good health again. However, considering my situation, I'm pale in comparison with what is happening in Sichuan now. Its really depressing to hear the news everyday about the high tolls of deaths each day. Its so scary that life can be so fragile. My grandma is hospitalized yesterday and I am worried that something may happen to her. I have been very close to her ever since I was a toddler, and I felt sad. She's the greatest grandma in my heart. I love her and hope she gets well soon.

A New Fragrance...

My days are so fulfilling now, as I get to go out without worrying whether projects or assignments are due. Its so relaxing nowadays that I get to wake up when I feel like it which is such a good feeling. I bought the Moon Sparkle 50ml fragrance yesterday! The scent is fruity and sweet which I adore it. On top of that, I got a miniature and a beautiful Escada satin pouch. Its soo nice that I cant resist it not buying. Well, I am a fragrance fantic, and when I chance upon any fragrance that I like, I will be thinking about it and wanting to get it. To me, a fragance is intriguing and it symbolises a person's personality and what scent he/she likes to associate with.

Personally, I like Escada fragrances as I prefer fruity and sweety scent as compared to those musky scents. (yucks!).

finally my last paper ended today! my torturous moments are over! Today just received the news from Shangri La Hotel that my internship starting day is being postponed to 5th May. Now, at least I have 4 days to rest and play before I start work. =)

Went to Bali Thai to eat with my godmum and cousin today. Think we ordered too much until my stomach felt bloated. Ordered my fav Tom Yum Soup with Prawns! I really cant do without chillies and spicy food. I am so addicted to chillies that I must always have it together with my meals everyday. My bf is astonished at the way I eat chillies. Its an addiction! Oh, updates updates! Bought my new hp - Sony Ericsson W910i red hp today! I've eying for ages as I really love hp in red. I got a really good deal for my hp purchase. Firstly, they gave me a $50 Swensens voucher! tomorrow I am going to eat with my dear! Then, I was invited to spin the wheel and I got what I really wanted - a $50 Isetan voucher! I always like to go to Isetan to get my Ettusais pdts as their products are good for my skin especially for their liquid foundation, blusher and mascara. Highly raved by me!

I used to be a Nokia Fan as its user-friendly and suitable for a light user like me. I dont fancy hps with great features as I usually use my hp for calling and sms-ing. Nothing much as I prefer simplicity in the things I use. However, this hp changed my perception towards other brands as well. I liked the graphics of this Sony Ericsson phone and the messaging was quite similar to Nokia so I got the hang out of it quite fast. Moreover, the music quality was really good and I think it is better than Nokia. Now, I am a great FAN of Sony Ericsson!! Will definitely opt for Sony Ericsson for my next purchase in 2 yrs time if nothing goes wrong.

Post Exams Depression

Today I sat for my 3rd paper without studying at all for it. This is because I have S/U it and I think its quite useless for me to study this module: Language Foundation for Translation. Felt quite uneasy as I have never ever done that before. Well, the paper was quite tough and there were alot of English to Chinese Translation long paragraphs which is not easy for me to translate. Having a higher mastery language of English than Chinese, I realized Chinese-English is so much easier. Hopefully, I wont do so badly for it. This semester I kept procrastinating for my revision in my exam papers, and its just a bad habit thinking I can crammed everything in one to 2 days. Aiyo, really served me right if I did not do well for this sem =( I feel out of sorts today. My dear is sick and down with fever and bad sore throat. Hence, I am quite sad that I am unable to talk to him on phone for long as normally I am the one doing the talking and I feel quite weird not talking to him. ( I'm just too talkative!) And to add on to my sadness, I just received my Managerial Accounting Project grade. Its C lor! This is the 1st time I got an C for a project! My group members and I were disappointed with our results and we are going to appeal to re-mark for our project if possible. OF course, to appeal, we need lots of justifications on the basis why we want to appeal. Its just so depressing! And I lost my NTU matriculation card when I entered into my exam hall just now. Its just my unlucky day today! Now, All i wish is that my exams can end faster. sick and tired of studying. Countdown to my last day of exam: 6 days more.

It seems that April birthdays are endless...=) Even my friend, Jenn commented that she has spent quite a bomb in April just for the birthday presents alone. haha~ Mahattan Fish Market was great! their service was good esp for birthday celebrations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED @ Central Mall! The staff took the initiative to ask whether we are celebrating any birthdays as we came in a large group. Despite that, there was also FREE Brownies and photos taken for us! (cant remembered what's the camera called whereby it can chunk out photos instantly) Nevertheless, it was a great dining experience and I definitely patronize there again. Sharon wasnt there as something cropped up at the last min therefore she was unable to make it. Thereafter, we headed to TCC after much hesitation on which cafes to go. We celebrated Xiaowei and Lingzi's Bdae in advance because most of us are having exams in APRIL (Stressed!=). Thumbs up again for Mahattan Fish Market for making this memorable b-dae celebration for the birthday gals and us!(",)
